Welcome back to Flowity Flow Club! I'm genuinely so happy you're here. It warms my heart to hear your questions and experiences as you apply some of my ideas to your own classes. Keep the questions coming—that’s why we’re here!
This week’s flow is a beautiful class that isn’t too challenging on the wrists; the entire second half is nearly wrist-free. We start and finish in standing poses, with no chaturangas or downward dogs. This makes it a great option for a beginners class with just a few adjustments. Stay tuned for August 2024 bonus content to see how to adapt this yoga class plan for a basics audience!
In this week's flow chat, we cover three exciting topics:
Mini Flow: Before diving deep into the main flow, I introduced a mini flow with simple poses to help connect breath with movement. It’s a gentle way to ease into the more intense moments.
Flow Combination: I break down the two flows I taught and how I combined them. Today’s combination is a great example of how two very different flows can come together beautifully.
Adding the Unexpected Plot Twist: I got my students comfortable with the movements, then introduced an unexpected wild thing. Learn how and why I made this change!
